It's about time. :-)

And hey, we need to see some of the other old star wars series get continued too... especially the College Years... especially since Obi-Wan is the last of the non passed-out Jedi! There's another beer in the fridge for goodness' sake! Hmm.... Sake.... sweeeeet... I've got the craving for a bottle of sake now. lol

pyropymp responds:

I love sake! Waaaaarrrrmm sake!

Very good idea

I always loved watching the show Mystery Science Theater 3000 when it FIRST came out with the original human host who was a hell of a lot funnier than the newer guy they came up with, but that was in the last half of the 90s... I don't even know if that show still exists. I like the idea about doing a Portal-type show on the blammed movies... but maybe you could throw in a few good movies every now and then, and crack some fun at them. =)

SeizureDog responds:

It's funnier to spoof the good movies than to comment on them :) besides, its a lot harder to get people to allow you to use a good movie in your movie. For bad movies, people are just glad to see their stuff on the portal in any way at all. Thanks for the 10 btw ;)

Keeping Dial-up Users Entertained...

is a very good thing to do. =)

Syrsly responds:

That it is, that it is. lol

You get protection from me

Very good idea, and I look forward to later installments. Perhaps make a bigger episodes from now on with at least one good flash review, and one bad flash review. It would make it more balanced. The Matrix Has You was awesome, and deserves good recognition. It isn't often that you have a collaboration of such talanted artists from different areas combining to create one awesome animation that is entertaining, and has a ton of replay value. Speaking of replay, at the end of your animation, instead of having a replay button, it says, "Reply" That needs to be fixed. Also, on the preloader, the load bar is loading from the 25% mark, expanding outwards in both directions... didn't know if you meant for that to be intentional or not. Other than that, it's good. Welcome to the portal. :-)

Confuzzled responds:

thanx! I didnt notice the button sorry and yeah i noticed the bar, that will be fixed for the next toon I REALY dunno what happened there LOL

Fucking Awesome

Imaginary is my absolute favorite song by Evanescence. This deserves to be with the other Music Videos on NG. Congratulations, and keep it up!

ArtistJ responds:

Well watch it again now, its beter sinmce its sync'ed perfectly, but people still dont like it much, you are the person who has giiven me my best rewiew as of april first, so thank you. Unfortunately it looks as though my cartoon will delve into the depts of obscurity after its day on the 50 most recent collum. Oh well, maybe people will come across it after i make another toon. Thank you again.

I am the saviour of this movie!

What I read:
You're the saviour! You are one of a number of people who have helped keep this entry in the Portal!

Yeah, so, feel lucky redneck. I don't normally take to people who still believe the "South" should have won the Revolutionary War.

Redneck-Clock responds:

Thanks for the review, however, I don't believe you are thinking of the correct war. I believe you meant the civil war. ^_^ I could go into a long discussion but i don't want anybody to get mad. So thanks again!

Finally!

Hi guys, it's your buddy incanus here! It's been a while since I've checked out the NG stuff, and when I come back, it is definitely a welcome surprise to see that 2 more episodes of my favorite series have come out!! I am in the process of downloading episode 12 right now, and will view episode 13 next... in the final episode, are all of you animators going to contribute to the creation of it, or is one person just going to finish it all off? I think that all of you need to contribute a good bit to it, so that the finale is good, LONG, and awesome, especially since it will mark the conclusion to this project you guys have been working on for so long. The only way to go out is to go out with style, finesse, and of course, lots of ogre-lovin, bard-killin, final fantasy survivor greatness!!! :D Hope to see all of you contribute to Episode XIV!!! :D

Your bud, Incanus the Grey

P.S. we need to team up sometime and work on a project or two! :D

DarkDragoonKain responds:

Well I'll be damned, welcome back. :D In response to your post, we're looking for a way for the whole crew to get involved with the ending, but haven't exactly gotten an idea yet as to what we'll exactly do. However, I'm sure we'll find something out in the near future. Also, I've got some message boards for FF4 Meets Survivor set up, if you have any suggestions about sequel ideas, or anything in general, please contact me there -- the URL is kohl.datamachine.net, and then just click on forums. Thanks for stayin' faithful to us throughout the series. :D

Awesome

The Beatles REW :)

Sundial responds:

Thank you, incanus. I think you made a little typo in your review there. You said "The Beatles REW :)" What I think you meant to say was "REWL." Since you are unable to edit your reviews, I will edit it for you.

ATTENTION! In the above review, incanus meant:
"The Beatles REWL :)"

And he couldn't ber more right.

Interesting..

I like it... interesting characters. It promises to be cool. The bit about the Lord of the Rings included in this was portayed by the mentioning of the "Hodiths" for "Hobbits" in the opening title... and then later on in the movie there was the Eye of Sauron floating around through the hallway.... it was greyish silver with a yellow and black eye... interesting enough, but still. It's good. The only major thing that I can complain about:

1. There is no sound throughout approximately half of this piece. There should be some kind of background music to keep it flowing and entertaining. Other than that, very good job. Congratulations :-)

Luke-Harris responds:

thank you very much!

Decent

I enjoyed this. Based off of the Battle of Helm's Deep from the Lord of the Rings... it was pretty enjoyable. There are a few things that could be improved on though... these are just helpful hints..... constructive criticisms if you may. 1. Fix the sound file of when the guys fall from the wall and onto the ground... it breaks up totally and takes away from the overall impact of the movie. 2. Maybe make a voice over for some of the characters? 3. Perhaps include more different types of characters fighting each other. To make it trully enjoyable, the on-screen chaos has to be incredible. If you recall from the book and the film, an army of 10,000 Uruk-hai was fighting against 300 refugees and soldiers of Rohan... sure, in the film they were backed up by the Elves of Lothlorien, and by the Riders of the Mark and Gandalf the White...... but still, in this film there were a pretty decent amount of characters on screen... and I know that it would be insane to put 10,000 gifs into a flash movie, but you should at least do your best to make it seem as if there were 10,000 or more Uruk-hai fighting against these soldiers and such. It was nice. I give this movie a 4.7, because it has a lot of great things in it, but also has some room to improve that if filled, would make it an awesome piece. :) Keep it up man!

SqEE-Ugh responds:

thanks..ill keep that in mind

All that is gold does not glitter. Not all those who wander are lost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows Shall spring. Renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king. - J.R.R. Tolkien, Paraphrased.
